Winter is drawing near..

Winter is drawing near,
with snowflakes and icicles.
The holidays are on the way,
to brighten the world with
flashing lights and glitter,
and I want you to know
that I look forward to this
season of giving,
season of living with you.
An angel must have been watching
over us the day we met,
because a love like ours is blessed.
I never knew such emotion could exist,
and I'm thankful for you.
I look to this winter with wonder,
knowing I'll keep warm
