I worked very hard to create an opportunity like this, but I know that I could not have done it without your sponsorship and I just want to personally tell you how very grateful I am.
It has been a great pleasure and honor studying under____ and I will always treasure the memories I have of that experience. I am now looking forward to __(briefly describe what your next steps will be).
